i got sick wednesday and went to a full day of work without realizing it until i got home and was asked to do an at-home test around midnight. 5 days on i'm still sick with a cough. the first 3 days was pretty bad, in addition to cough, i had fever, headache and chills. my mind was racing while i was trying to rest and sleep, it was like my body was telling me i couldn't sleep because i needed to fix something that was way beyond my control. i got tired of sleeping at some point but staying up also got me very tired. regardless, it did not help with the massive headache it gave me. at that point i didn't understand what my body was trying to say. only yesterday i finally got back into my bearings and started to eat normally and on schedule. took some breaks and naps when i was not on the computer.

don't worry, i got the vaccine and the one booster. it's funny coz i was supposed to get the second booster that thursday. hoping it blows off soon. it's not a fun experience but my symptoms are fairly mild, like a really stubborn flu.

everyone please take care of yourselves! covid isn't in the radar of most people now but it's still out there. i have no idea where i caught it but it's very much still contagious.
