I made a decision months ago to drop several art-sharing / social media venues as it was tiring after many years' time (decade plus). Also had to take a long break from art sites save for Pixiv though I use it sparingly for reviewing my work for reference. I haven't uploaded anything as I use a laptop instead of a phone (it's inaccessible at the moment).
Once I get back on regularly (looking at January or February 2023) I'll upload new art and save the MaxBradley story for the Tumblr archives to avoid double-posting:

Pixiv will be my main site as I can upload anything I want and in batches if I need to which is a useful feature for concept art.
It's an easy trade off, freedom over 'community engagement'. I learned not to reply to anyone even if it is a compliment lest I recognize them from previous instances and that list is very short. I would have liked most creatives to be genuine but the internet tends to bring out the worst in people and therefore makes them untrustworthy.
I want to get back to my roots as it were to enjoy creating for myself just for the sake of it. If I ever make new connections with art it'll be offline where I can at least get to know them as they really are.
I'm not asking for sympathy, just a modicum of understanding.

FA+

No one should make you not enjoy what you do. I'm glad you're finding a way that works for you regarding how you make and display your art!
DA was my main site but I up and left it as is; same with the other sites. (I don't think I'm a furry either lol)
I heard of ToyHouse but saw it was invite-only in the beta stage. I kinda remember Weebly from way back then x'D
I am still creating, just at a slower pace and even just coloring to unwind. Art is a great outlet for me and I want to avoid it becoming a chore. Yep~
DA was my main site too, for years. I got invited to ToyHouse because someone found a stolen character of mine on there so they invited me so I could report it. It was removed. It's been around for a good few years, you would think it would be free for anyone to join now.
That's the best way to do it!
That's good someone let you know in a timely manner. It seems that Toyhouse needs to step up fundraising to open the door to the public.
Indeed~
Me too although it took them months to remove it which was annoying. Hope they can do that eventually.
In the meantime I'll stick to my plan =]
