Heya, Ric here! I've kinda been radio silent over the last few weeks and I kinda want to address it for everyone who's been concerned.
I've recently recieved a few notes from friends/acquaintences I've met here over these last few months, so I want to let you all know this much: I'm fine! I may be late (or completely forget about) responding to my notes, so just shoot me another one if you don't hear back from me. I try to check the site every day, but stuff often gets in the way. I'll make a note to include my telegram/twitter info on my profile to kind of diversify the ways that people can contact me. I haven't abandoned you, my schedule legit became hectic!
So what happened? Well...
I'm currently taking care of an older dog who, over the last year or so, managed to develop a chronic skin allergy. It took about 10 months of trial and error, but she's finally gotten to a point where she's fine, if not a bit itchy! She's basically become a bit time sink, but I still had time to hang here. I've also been dealing with a neck injury from November, so a lot of my last month has been focused on balancing between strenuous work and finding time to heal. That's also taking time, but not too much.
Then my water heater leaked and caused mold to grow throughout my entire basement.
THAT has taken a lot of time over the last few weeks. I've had workers here from 8am to 4pm sometimes daily, and with my job (basically from 10pm to 8am) and the aformentioned dog, my schedule has been loaded at best! I originally stopped being so active here because I was just spending money, but now that I worked out a budget for my furry stuff, I've been swamped.
Basically, I'm in the middle of a short break - but not on my own accord. I hope to have stuff sorted out within a few weeks (on top of relatives comping around for the holidays). If you want to contact me quickly (or if I seemingly stopped responding to the notes here) You can reach me on:
