People still play Fortnight?

Ec-fucking-xactly. People are still complaining about Fortnite like it's still going strong, despite the fact that no mainstreamer I know of even plays it anymore.

Much, like with Overwatch, Minecraft, Roblox, Amongus and the Undertail series, it's not so much the games themselves that are bad or annoying...it's the fandom. Specifically...Zoomers. It's because during the peak of those game franchises teenagers would just blab on and on and on and on and on to the point where us older folks just wanting to rip our ears off. It's the same reason Boomers hate the stuff we grew up with, like Pokémon.

To clarify though, they don't even play Fortnite, yet they act like they're acting like they're afraid of a CoPoWate DyStOpIaC aPoCalYpSe when Epic Games keeps putting characters on that game to stay relevant. Like what? Exclusive copyrights over a shitton of fucking cameos? Yeah, right. That'll take a shitton of more money and negotiations to do, and I doubt it'll be profitable for both parties in the long run anyways.

Remember FunkoPops? Remember how many freaking characters they somehow got the rights to make toys out of? If anything I feel like sharing copyright is something the world needs a lot more of. Open up the I.P. playground, you know? I never really liked FunkoPops but the fact that you could get toys of just about every obscure character from every movie, show, game and comic ever made was pretty cool. Just a shame the quality of the physical toys themselves was kinda underwhelming.

But just imagine if, say, instead of issuing cease-and -desists to all fan projects that get big enough to compete, companies like Nintendo, Disney, Warner Brothers, etc WORKED WITH fans to make epic crossovers people actually want to buy?

I agree with that 100%, but let me get back to my reason behind the journal...

Guy 1 creates "Postal dude added to Fortnite"
Guy 2: "soon enough everyones's going to be added on Fortnite"
Guy 1: "sadly, it seems that way"
Wholesome to sad-ass doomer within two fucking comments. AGAIN!!

I'm getting fucking sick of people turning the most basic things into the same-ass "UMG THIS IS OUR FUTURE WERE FUCKING DOOMED"
Do they realize that NOBODY "likes" this shit anymore!? Who comes on the internet and says "Hmm, what innocent thing should I ruin with doomer nonsense today?" These people aren't even trolls. Trolls are funny, these people are NOT.

This is why I've been venting and ranting so much recently, I'm getting tired of holding my anger back from these stupid LOSERS!!

I totally understand, but as someone living with chronic anxiety all my life I also kind of get the psychology behind it. They may not consciously realize it but they're deflecting from what they're ACTUALLY fretting about. Climate change, pandemics, the economy, war...stuff that actually CAN and IS disrupting society. But a lot of people understandably don't want to think about those things so instead they lash out at frivolous "problems" to vent their anxiety.

Poor saps. They should have chose Team Fortress 2.
