And I feel horrible about it. I got her the year I graduated from college and got a teaching job in 2014. She was an adult when I got her. I've read they live between 10-15 years. Fast forward 8 years. I'm paying rent with my parents while I teach 7th grade science. We had to remodel my room and unfortunately there was no longer room for her in my room and she had to be moved out to the shed. (air conditioned) I told my parents that I wanted her where I could see her, that I liked waking up in the morning to her smiling face as she pokes at the glass for me to feed her. But their house, their rules for things like this.

Unfortunately she stopped eating out there. I offered her all kinds of things. She had her temperature gradient. A month later...and I come home from work, Dad tells me my gecko has passed away and...

I just feel horrible I feel like I let her down. 8 years i had her...a large chunk of my 33 years on this earh has been spent with her in my life. Now she's gone.
