Don’t you just feel like you wanna crawl in a hole and just…not come out for a while?
I have not been feeling myself at all lately, despite things in life having turned for the better.
So things have just been…ugh for no discernible reason.
One thing is for sure, I’ve decided for the foreseeable future not to do commissions. Between a full-time work schedule and weird mental hang ups I’ve been having lately, it’s simply the better decision for me at this time. Doesn’t mean I’ll never do them again. Just right now I can’t put forth the mental energy and that’s not fair to you.
But this will also allow me to focus more on my own work and characters. I have a better grasp of what I want to do with them and their stories. Comics are a ways away, but not an impossibility. My work ethic is shit as it is, so this is something I really want to build up to.
Anyways, I hope all of you are well and thanks for sticking around despite my lack of uploads. And welcome to the newbies too. I’m happy to know you saw something here that made you want to see more.

I'm taking a break myself until January, it's important to take time for yourself and your own work.

Can relate, the grind is real. Also change, even good change can be disruptive. It can make you anxious and I have found myself having anxiety attacks from good news before. Just take the time to let things sink in and give yourself the chance to decompress and think about where you want to take things. Good luck to you!

Always aim to do what you enjoy most. Drawing for yourself is far less stressful, and allows you an infinitely flexible timeframe. Just relax and draw stuff that makes you happy, you don't even have to post it all online, personal projects do wonders for your self-esteem! Looking forward to your future illustrations!
