'The life of mammals'

Last week, I got the BBC's/David Attenborough's 'The life of mammals' on dvd. Good deal: 10 50 minute episodes for 10 euros. Totally worth it. It's been around for a few years (2003, I believe), so the image quality isn't that of Planet Earth (which I also have and which is amazing), but it's a great documentary nonetheless. I've only seen three episodes so far and I've already encountered three species I had never even heard. I also learned that pangolin walk on two legs, because their claws make their front legs unsuitable for walking. I feel really stupid for not knowing that.
In January, I will be painting a 3,7x2,5 meter (plus two bits of 63x250 cm) mural in my grandfather's nursing home. That's over 12 square meters. That's a lot. It will probably be a Provence landscape, because they've asked for something blue, so I'm going with lavender fields and blue sky. [/random info]

That mural painting project sounded great! 3,7x2,5 metres...wow. O_o I would be so,so,so happy to do something similar example in my parents' work place's wall. ^^ But now I'm just making my own painting projects in school...sigh. Are you going to submit some photos of the mural when the painting is done? ^^
I do plan to submit photos of the mural! It will be the third mural I've done there, and I've also done two murals in my parents house. However, I feel that this one will be substantially better than the previous ones. Sometimes it just feels that way with art: you make a number of paintings or drawings or whatever that are all of comparable quality, and then all of a sudden something clicks and you think: 'Right, I can do it much better now!'
