One thing I will promise right now is that there'll be no politics/real-world stuff that isn't directly related to the furry community over there (though I may like/share such content from others if I feel it's crucial enough to warrant it.) As important as I may find such things (especially living in the US right now), it's not why people are following us and it's not what many of them want to see.

I think it's a good move. The censorship on twitter's only going to get worse. Or.. should I say.. the cultural shift? I've been hearing more and more about mastadon lately. Seems to be where everyone's going. I've honestly been worried about if they'd be coming after fur themed accounts on twitter.

It's painfully clear the rules at any time are subject to change based on whether or not Elon's sugar-glass fragile ego got a booboo or not, and that's not a system either of us want to be part of anymore lol. And it does seem like, for as much as people are going in multiple directions, Mastodon is a common one amongst their choices, so it makes sense to head there ourselves.

The fact that Mastodon has a sub-domain dedicated to art AND forbids it to NFTs makes it a plus already.
