When it happened to me, it hit harder than a truck. I cried so much that my boss just let me go so I could see his body for the last time at the vet with a whole family, I remember it well, and the tear is still in my eye when I think about it, even though it was like a year ago.

Make sure to cry it all out and take your time to mourn, she is a family member after all...

What matters at most is being here for him for the last time. It's what my parents and I do the same thing to her as much as our old dog 11 years ago...

They maybe gone but it still remains in our hearts and memories for years to come. It wasn't easy, feeling really sad to think about it and missed them every now and then. It feels empty without them...

She was lucky to have us as caring family members for 12 years in her life out of farm dogs adoption. Hopefully she have better in afterlife...
