You and I have had conversations about music before, so I'll try to mention things that I haven't already told you about (or at least, that I don't remember telling you about), and I'm going to skip timeless classics you will already be ware of like fleetwood mac and bonnie tyler. I got turned on to Mystery Skulls a bit ago. It's very vibrant and energetic stuff, brash and plainspoken with a compelling sound. I vastly prefer their more modern synth-heavy tracks to their more "classic" sounding stuff, but check them out. Most of what I consider their best stuff os here:
