So might as well publicly announce it here to avoid any more surprises.
Around 2 years ago, my grandfather contracted colon cancer. The news shook my family to its very core, we rushed to help him in anyway we can. However there's only so much we can do. El Salvador, despite all the progress it had made still can't quite match up to the health care in the US or Europe.

So now, just a few days ago, we've received the news that the cancer has spread through his body. Now it's only a matter of time of when the day arrives for him to pass away. I won't lie....it sucks. Like....really fucking sucks that this had to happen. Even after some very hard cries, I've more or less accepted that I won't have him for much longer.

It's gonna suck when it happens, and my mom is taking it a lot worse. She made it clear that she's going down to El Salvador herself should the day arrive to avoid more emotional pain to be caused towards my little sister. So come February for when my whole family can go to El Salvador, it's going to come down whether or not my grandfather can make it that long.

So yeah....not much else to say.
2022 is just full of fucking surprises eh?
