Being a part of the furry fandom has been one of the largest impacts on my life. In some ways, it has been less than ideal, but by far and away it has been a wonderful experience. And through the myriad reasons, one sticks out more than any for me: The ability to meet people from all over the world. In my years on this platform, I have met people from all over. Britain, Ireland, Sweden, Poland, Norway, Denmark, Australia, Canada, Russia, Panama, Venezuela, many more countries that just aren't on the tip of my tongue, and of course, many from here in the States. Some interactions haven't been pleasant, and not all have lead to lasting connections, but it is incredible being able to say you have friends with so many cultures, nationalities, ethnicities and identities.
