The big soul devouring dragon has an announcement to make... Follow every command... if you love your soul~
Since Twitter decided to outright censor not just Mastodon-related links, but also apparently a whole bunch of other social media platforms, such as Instagram and Facebook as well, they will be going to ban users violating these rules now. (That is if Musk doesn't yet again retreat from that idea...)
Since I do use my Mastodon profile link on there as my name, so that importer tools can find me there, and I posted my mastodon link in tweets several times now, even have it as my pinned tweet, I am definitely violating their TOS now and it will probably only be a matter of time until they close my account there.

Yes, I will continue to use FA of course. Yes, I will continue to use Twitter, as long as they allow it. Once they ban my account, I'll say farewell to Twitter and completely focus on Mastodon.

Mastodon isn't a real twitter alternative, but it sure has some nice features that feel like Twitter to some extent. There are entire instances just for the sake of sharing and creating art, plus many instances share posts between each other. Since there is no algorithm or anything, all likes and shares you get there are completely natural and so far I feel like there are nice communities out there. Especially meow.social and my home instance macrofurs.social
