I'm in a bind and need help due to a car crash that has me up to $2K in debt.
I was in a car accident while backing out of my driveway with construction happening next to me. I was unable to see the car, resulting in a collision. Neither parties were injured.
I was told that the cost of the repairs could be anywhere between $200 to $2,000 depending on the damage done to the vehicle.
Settling this with insurance would be exorbitantly more expensive than paying out of pocket. I'm waiting for an estimate on the damage, but I'm at a loss here.
I'm at $300- already for owed commissions, and there are upcoming bills, so after talking with my roommates they convinced me to start a gofundme.
I'm not in a good spot right now, and I'm supporting two people on one income.
My husband has disabilities and can't work. We are struggling month to month just to get by, and now with the car situation I can't afford to pay $200 out of my own pocket - let alone $2,000.
If you can, please give whatever amount you can. I know everyone is tapped right now and it's the holidays, but I'm desperate. I might even need to get a second job of some kind to cover this and I'm not sure where. But any, and I mean ANY donation, no matter how small, will help.
If you can't, I understand, but there's other ways you can help by spreading the word as far and wide as you can. The more eyes on this, the better. The month is almost up and I'm scared that I won't have the money for this.

the car we have is a lease, and from what i was told the cost for the repair would run more then paying out of pocket after taking into consideration the increase of our monthly rate up to at minimum of $300 to $400 on top of the amount we already pay. the problem itself is the other persons car, its old and finding parts for older cars like theirs if the damage is bad could run up too 2K.
