Please Help This Cockroach
Our First Cockroach, Uncle Kage, has announced a daring plan. I wish to bring it to your attention and invite you to spread the news yourselves.

I'm sure you all remember our comrade and considered voice, Tony "Dogbomb" Barrett, It has not yet been four years since he was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, ALS, (sometimes known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.) We remember how he fought it. In the end, he opted to end his life on his own terms rather than let a mere disease destroy him. Since then, research into ALS has been a cause among us.

On April 15th, 2023, there will be a walk in the city of Raleigh to raise money for research into ALS. The Furry community of North Carolina intend to participate in this walk, but they want more. This year, they want to sponsor the walk. They want to show the world how generous and kind is the Furry fandom. Of course, they want to honour Dogbomb, too. But more importantly, they... well, Uncle Kage... wants to be able to look all the corporate sponsors in their metaphorical faces and say, "Is that all you've got?"
As I write this, Team Dogbomb has raised $770US. They want to put at least $2,500 together by April.

Perhaps you can't donate right now. I know that inflation is hitting hard on all of us. Maybe charity is a luxury that you can't afford, even for a tax write-off. Some of us have spare cash, so you can still help by spreading the news as far as you can. (I hereby grant blanket permission to link to or copy-and-paste this journal.)
Leave No Furry Ignorant!
Thank you all for your kind attention.
