According to author Paul Kidd, Mark "Sy Sable" Merlino died at 2:00 AM PST this morning at his home in Los Angeles CA. He was one of the founders of the Furry fandom and a true gentleman. He is survived by his husband, Rod "Vinson Mink" O'Riley.
