Hey, can you believe it's been a whole year since I posted a journal on FA? Well, yeah, I guess that ain't so uncommon nowadays :P

I know it's been my tradition to post a wrap-up of all the art i've commissioned over the past 12 months, but i've decided not to do it this year. I haven't commissioned nearly as much art as I normally would, and the vast majority of what I have is Patreon rewards from my good friend  magicdawolfy (who you should totally check out). I'll also post a selection of favourites on Twitter later tonight.

So, how's life been? In all honesty, 2022 is a year i'd rather put behind me. Tail end of the pandemic, so things were pretty dull and isolating for the first part of the year. Then, my car decided to spring a coolant leak in the most annoying place possible, leaving me without reliable transport for almost half the year. I then decided to buy a new car and sell the old one once it was repaired, which took up a lot more of my time. The Australian Federal election happened, which was one good bit of news because we managed to kick out the previous government and elect a Labor one... but yeah, other than that, pretty forgettable year.

To anyone who still reads these journals, I hope you had a better year than I did, and hopefully 2023 turns out to be a better one for all of us :)
