2022 in review and the year ahead
So, 2022 is officially gone into the record books. It's definitely been a wild year for me, between continuing to meet literally dozens and even hundreds of friends, attending my very first furry convention ever, and some deep personal introspection revealing parts of myself which I didn't even know I wasn't accepting.
To address that last one in the event you don't follow my Twitter, over the past 8-10 months I've been doing a lot of soul-searching/introspective thinking to try and tackle the simmering malaise that never quite seems to leave. The end result of this process, about a week before Christmas, led to my acknowledging and accepting that I am genderfluid, as well as the creation of a new sona, Isla, to reflect when I am female presenting (I apologize in the event I am inadvertently offending folks with my verbiage, but it's what makes sense to me and so is how I'm going to explain it :3).
Anywho, on to different topics, am looking ahead with optimism toward 2023, I do intend to try to find a better work-personal balance that allows for me to not be constantly be experiencing whiplash to the point of feeling like I'm two different people timesharing the same body, and to allow me to actually figure out what I want to do with myself in the long term. I've got my job, and while I do intend to make it my career, pending issues that I will not go into for any reason, it's not something I really enjoy doing. Is just a matter I think of having too many hobbies and interests that all require in-depth focus/effort, and trying to do them all at once results in not having any significant progress on getting better at it (see my art, my writing, my painting, my 3D modeling, my streaming, etc...)
Anyway, going to at least leave off the complaining here, I always get stressed when starting to open up and share more of what's dragging on me in my personal life. But, at the end of the day, all of you folks continue to help make things better and inspire me to be a better person :3

Hopefully you can find that balance between work and personal, my friend. You stay awesome and don't change a thing about yourself because you're an amazing friend that I'm honored I have the pleasure of knowing ^^
