That's a tough one. Definitely Danmaku shmups. Love Deathsmiles and classic Touhou.

The original Gradius will always hold a special place in my heart for my first 1cc, but probably Layer Section for the gameplay and Philosoma for the unique presentation... which I think places me firmly in the "dad shmup" zone. But I do also love some Crimzon Clover!
