Well, Happy New Year to all of you and I hope the season treated and is treating you well!
Posting something to clear things off for the new year.
I'm hoping to post more often for the next little bit - I am really not a winter person at all, I have Seasonal Affective Disorder, as well as life in general being difficult due to work, our having an extreme cold-snap here in Texas, and the big one: I am moving.
There's still a couple months to go, but I will be departing the state of Texas and moving to Colorado. I love Texas, but the area I am in, housing is unaffordable, the cost of living is going up rapidly, and aside from MrHappy1987, I don't have a lot of close friends around here (and since his father's passing he's got all the household responsibilities, so I don't see him much at all anymore). I got offered an opportunity to move in with Wynne up in the mountains west of Denver, near to a whole bunch of folks, so I have opted to go for it. TFF this year will mark the end of my time in the Lone Star State. Wynne's place is really nice, in a beautiful locale, and I'm hoping this will allow me to save more money to eventually buy my own place, and to move on from my current job.
So that's it for now, short and sweet: hopefully I'll see you at TFF if you're there, if you're in the Denver/Boulder/Ft. Collins area, sing-out!
Peace!
