Gads, where does time go? Blink and it’s a year. I’ve been around, lurking, mostly on Twitter.

I’ve had good intentions to do something creative for all this time, but haven’t done a thing. I’ve got a so many piles of shame: a bookcase of unread art books, 25,600 unseen FA images, stacks of unused art supplies, a wall of un-sewn yards of fur and a book-length Word document of ideas.

Still at the same job, which has contributed to stress and high blood pressure. Management has acknowledged that they were driving everyone to burnout and have tried adding more people and reducing the workload. It’s been helping some, but time will tell.

In regards to the coming year, I really want to get something done and I’ve been looking at ways to keep myself working towards completed work and setting aside time. I’m thinking of using a Kanban board to try to keep tasks on the forefront. That’s definitely something I’m bad, letting things fall to the side and get forgotten. I’m not sure if it’ll work, but I’m going to give it a try.

Here’s to 2023 and a renewed artistic output.
