Hello hello and a belated happy new year to you all!
I hope you all had an awesome festive period and that 2023 is off to a good start for everyone.
I figured since I have been gone for so long (AGAIN!), a little update journal was in order.
I don't want to make this another “Sorry for yet another prolonged absence” journal.. though I will now quickly do just that, haha. Again, it's not down to me avoiding any of you, I've just been dealing with a lot of mental and general life stuff. Thank you to everyone who has stuck around with me throughout all of this, I appreciate you all and will endeavour to get back to as many of you who messaged me over the past few months as possible.
What I said in previous journals stays true, I do really enjoy chatting to you all and would love to make more friends in the fandom, I've just been dealing with the aforementioned 'stuff' for the past year which has made me notably more introverted than I once was (and I was already pretty introverted to begin with, hehe). In more positive news though, I am now seeking actual help rather than just isolating myself so one step at a time, I guess.
Right, now the real talk stuff is out of the way, onto more positive things!
Firstly, I am starting to feel my motivation to write return!
It's been over a year since my last story on here so about bloody time, eh?
Got a couple of projects in the works already so expect to see those within the next month~
Also, I am studying again! Started an Open University course, which I think has helped me get back into writer mode. (This may mean I'm a little busier than usual during the week but again, I'm going to try to stay put this time rather than running away again, so don't be afraid to get in touch. :3)
Aaaand lastly, I've been working on a particular passion project of mine, it's not furry related so not super relevant for the journal but it's going surprisingly well and I am uncharacteristically optimistic about it, so thought I'd add it to the positives, hehe.
Wanted to finish up by giving a huge thank you to everyone who faved my stories and watched me while I was away (just in case I don't get around to thanking you personally), always a nice little ego boost to come back to! ;p

Studying has definitely been useful for getting me to write more regularly, plus it's a good distraction from the depressing thoughts which is always welcome X3
