Went to see this movie recently and enjoyed it quite a bit. The surprising part about this movie was that it had more emotional content than I expected and didn't try to pander to little kids. In fact, I think it's one of those movies that kids probably won't get at all. Perhaps the filmmaker's idea is that the kids can just watch the funny looking creatures and not worry about the story so much. And visually, the movie is excellent of course. The costumes and facial effects are all extremely impressive. It's really great that they can create such realistic looking creatures these days.

I recommend this one if you like talking creature movies.
