As a fair few of you know by now, I've got a book published through an amazing, kind, helpful publishing company known as Shawline publishing, who also run Shawline Publishing Group if anyone is interested, as well as https://www.shawlinepublishing.com.au . My issue, however, is that I have no proper ideas for how to get my book out there by myself, since I've already tried getting it in news/media, as well as giving bookmarks to shops relating to the book, as well as other options too. From my point of view, it feels like I've done everything I can to market/advertize it, and I'm not sure what other ways I can do it. I also never know how to talk to reviewers or book groups because, for some reason, I start feeling nervous whenever I try. I'm even trying to start a secret code/message solving mystery on youtube relating to marketing my books more, as well as starting on something which i hope will be happily accepted. I cant really go into much more detail about it, otherwise it would spoil the surprise. But I guess what I really would like is help. Word of mouth, people posting on FB, Twitter or other places, or trying to maybe find things that might help me get my book out there more are all accepted. I'm a little scared/ nervous about talking to strangers online because I never know what to say, so... if anyone could help me out with figuring out how to approach these things better, that would be great.
