Twitter Just Keeps Getting Worse

Twitter has felt completely different for a good while now but recently it's just felt oppressive.
With the kids getting into adult spaces and getting mad that queer adults draw porn and now the SURGE of tech bros saying shit like "I can't wait until artists actually start losing their jobs over the AI".
I got a random message from a throw away account just being rude and targeted out of nowhere several times this week. I don't think I really want to be on there anymore?
But what sucks is that Twitter is somehow the place that I get the most traffic and if I stop posting I lose that momentum.
Awful shit.
Also artist peers getting call out posts made about them because they draw erotic gore now lmao. It just reminds me of the time on Tumblr about 10 years ago or so where I was called out and told I was a 'necrophile' because of the gore I draw.
And you've seen the gore I draw; it's not malicious it's consensual and it's about affection.
I don't know; I'm tired of all of this nonsense and it's mainly coming from Twitter now and Tumblr seems to be the chill place ha ha ha.

It's so mind bobbling how NASTY everything has gotten over there holy shit.
It's not even worth being there anymore imo it's too cut throat; with random people addicted to arguing in bad faith 24/7.
Sadly, tumblr is diving into the same route with a lot of these idiots migrating there after the whole mess that went on recently but honestly at least their blocking system is way better since I first joined. For tumblr to be chill, you gotta keep your wits about you and just surround yourself with people you can feel comfy and trust. Otherwise, its just another Twatter 2.0 if delving into the wrong spaces.
If you're not able to do that yet, you could always minimise the amount you post there. Ive got a friend who only posts her sfw stuff to twitter.
Twitter is 99% of my commissions. It took me SO SO long to get there. I can't do this again on another website.
I'll admit I got caught up in that shit, but at this point I'm too tired to give a shit. If you get squicked, curate your experience, if it breaks laws, report it to the FBI, and if it's a literally abusive piece of shit then ya call that out, but otherwise I'm so done with the bs

I gotta do twitter in bursts, I'm bound to it not just due to financial reasons but there's a myriad of people I manage to interact with only on there because we're both filled to the brim with our schedules so that's our only casual outlet.
I think the most hilarious take I saw was an 18 year old furry/furry adjacent artist saying anyone that draws animal accurate genitalia is a zoophile and disgusting. They were then AGHAST to learn that some furries were into PAWS and MAWS. Like. Child. Shut up and sit in the SFW room if you think adults with animal characters/personas doing adult things in adult spaces is terrible.
But yeah overall I've noticed Twitter is just getting more and more mean and unfair and unkind; I keep to my follows/circles but otherwise I'm not enjoying it as much as I used to.
But thanks to having to work more and having less art to post there anyway, I have barely gotten anything from posting anyway
