Haxorus usulaly mark their patch by notching trees with their headaxes so sure, he'd do taht. Maybe gets a bit frisky and decides the tree needs a bit of white on it too. So could be stroking a long prehensile dick. Alternative take is him sunning and showing said appendage off as if to a viewer.
