✨ Prices lowered for Headshots/Icons! ✨

As the title says, prices have been lowered. Go nuts, everyone!
This holiday season was craaazy for me, but it’s over now and I can finally get back to work. I have a lot of commissions to get through, and I am working diligently, so thanks for being patient with me! I will also be starting a new project in the next few months, so keep a watch out for that!
How’s everything going with you guys? How have you been, lately?

WARNING: OLD GEEZER STORY INCOMING
The world is crazier than ever, but do what we can to make it another day. For me, that's come in the form of a new job. Back in May '21, a new company took over the government contract in charge of the maintenance of Navy Electronic Warfare SLQ-32 training systems on the base I work at. Said new company was willing to keep the old technicians at least, but considering most Navy EW's (Electronic Warfare Technicians, such as myself) that actually 'know' how to work on these systems are either retired or dead, they had little choice but to keep us. They did, however, try make us all initial offers averaging $25k BELOW our previous salaries and most of us had to fight tooth and nail to 'negotiate' our way up to a nearly $7k paycut. Since that happened, most of the techs left for better employment elsewhere. I stuck around and dealt with it since working on those systems was practically my life.
But then last November, I got a job offer to become a government employee GS-12 instructor for fresh-out-of-bootcamp Navy sailors on the same base and even the same building I was already working in. And for an $80k+ salary, $20k more than what I was originally making before the paycut. What I'm teaching isn't exactly what my job was before, but close enough; less "highly advanced specialized equipment" and more "basic electronic theory/maintenance/repair". So I told the old company to go to hell and ran, dusted off my old teaching skills from when I was an instructor during my active duty days and now I'm basically a college professor for the military. Again, lol.
The best part? The company that took over my old job might end up defaulting on their contract. Their GOVERNMENT contract. Which means they won't get a contract with the government or military ever again. Which will be hilarious, and I'll toast to their failure.
