Update time!
Oh my god, I didn’t realize it had been so long since I posted anything… I’m so sorry, guys. 😥
The past year has been a whirlwind. My boyfriend-now-husband and I got married in June! 💍 Which meant that we spent the first months of the year finishing up all the wedding planning (which is so much more stressful than anyone prepared us for.)
THEN my sister got married in October and I was in the party, so there were showers and bachelorette parties ON TOP of all our own parties and planning that we had to do!
I started a new career last autumn and just finished my first year there. I had to get through a 6 month probationary period before becoming an “official” employee (which is stressful), and I am still being trained because there is a LOT to learn, but I really like it so far. 😌
On top of all this, by husband and I have been looking for a home for 2+ years, and found out last week that an offer we put in on a home was accepted! After two years of constant searching and being turned down, we are finally on the track to get a house! 🏡
Which is absolutely terrifying! As scary as it is exciting! There is so much that needs to be done, and so much fear and anxiety swirling through me, and right during the holiday season, too.
When it rains it pours, and 2024 has definitely been a deluge for us.
I really miss drawing and hope to post more in 2025, once things settle down, but I wanted to let you all know what’s going on!
