Update + thoughts about my art

Hi!
I've never been a very frequent poster anyways, but over the past several months I basically vanished. That's because I was so busy with my job and studies that I didn't even have time to think about making new TF art. This has just recently changed, since I've been laid off from my job for the time being. Now that I have some extra free time, I figured I would come back and make some new art. So if you're interested in commissioning something, now's a good time!
(Note--please don't think of this as a cry for help! My financial situation is okay for now, I'd just like a way to not bleed expenses as quickly. Don't feel pressured to give me money lol.)
I also wanted to share some thoughts about the nature of my TF art, given recent events with a popular artist. I wasn't here to witness exactly what happened, but I got the gist, and it's making me rethink some of my practices.
I already consider a lot of my art to be morally dubious when it comes to things like the TF subject's consent. But if every character in my works was aware and prepared for what happens to them, that'd take away a lot of the excitement for me. Some people enjoy TF stories for a wish fulfillment aspect, and I do as well. But another big part of my fascination with TF is the idea of losing control over your body, and turning into something to suit someone else's desires (that should be obvious based on the stuff I make with Clay, haha).
However, I draw the line when it comes to certain things, like depicting or involving children in erotic art. I don't want to draw underage characters, and I also don't want real children to see my artwork. Because of that, I might stop drawing characters from popular childrens' media going forward (like Pokemon), and focus only on OCs. But at the same time, I know a lot of people make OCs that are a species of Pokemon, so I don't want to alienate those people either.
Let me know if you have any thoughts on this. I don't want to argue over what is/isn't ethically correct, I just want to operate based on my own feelings. If I feel uncomfortable making a piece of artwork, then it'll be painstaking for me to complete, and that's no good for anyone involved.

I'd say personally, my stance on 'kids media characters' is pretty simple and I feel, pretty safe: If they are, within the show, underage and you draw them as basically just how they look in the show, but with boobs/taller, that's too close for comfort. If they are NOT explicitly underage (IE. Kora from book 2-4, any adult/parent character) OR they have no specific age in the show and are NOT obviously codded to be a kid (IE. Pokemon are not really shown as being kids normally so your probably fine with them outside of the 'baby' evolutions, but, say, the robots from OKKO who are not really kids, but are portrayed as having child like minds, watching little kids shows and trying to suck up to their 'Daddy' Boxman would be wrong) is probably okay, as long as you don't then paint them as child like or include underage characters from the same setting.
Basically: Kids media NSFW is always a little iffy, BUT as long as its SPECIFICALLY focusing on non canonically child characters your probably fine, but 'all characters are 18+' is NOT a shield for drawing characters who are basically JUST show accurate versions of child characters in NSFW situations, even if they have the proportions of porn stars.
Or to TL;DR it... Pokemon themselves are fine, just don't draw Ash.
Also for the sake of NOT getting kids to see it, just maybe avoid tagging based on show. Pokemon is a weird one since its hard to avoid it, but like... To go back to a previous example while Kora in book 2 is 18, tagging a picture of her "Legend of Korra" or "ATLAB" would effectively be putting it out their as something someone just googling a show they like might stumble on which is... Less good. Though I THINK if you tag your art 'adult' here on FA it WON'T be openly visible to random searches, but on twitter or tumbler or whatever that might be a much much bigger risk to consider.
I'm pretty much on the same page with all of what you said, I think I'm gonna change how I tag things (especially on other sites).
And good thinking, I think that's a solid plan.
