Commission prices set to increase after the 15th
2 years ago
(Meant to get this out earlier, but ran into some distractions)
Hey, I know I previously said that prices would increase in January, and that last opening was the last chance for the current prices, but I thought I'd give one last opportunity for anyone who wants to snag something for the current prices. Anyone who contacts me/contacted me about a commission before the 15th will be eligible for the current prices.
The prices after the increase are still subject to change, but for now, I'm thinking that this will be the deal:
Sketches will increase from $20 to $25 per character. I want these to remain a relatively cheap option, so they won't be increasing as much as the others. However, I will probably be changing the amount of time spent worrying about line cleanliness. They are sketches after all, and putting in work to clean the lines kind of defeats the purpose while increasing the amount of time and work spent on them. I'll still aim to make them not a total mess, though lol.
Lineart will increase from $25 to $35 per character, and flat color will increase from $35 to $45 per character. This bigger increase is because I still want to put the detail I tend to do into my work, but the motivation to do so with the current prices is lessened due to the amount of time it takes. With these new prices, I feel I would be better motivated to put in additional detail.
Any thoughts on the prices? Do these seem fair? Feedback would be appreciated. I still struggle to know my worth, to be honest, but I'm trying to get a balance of fairness for customer as well as for me the artist.
And if you would like to commission for the current prices you can do so by sending me a note.
