In Russia, people are used to the fact that we have a constant asshole's time and our government is trying to kill us. Our ingenuity and resourcefulness have always saved us... Every day we survive. Let's deal with that too. Even children in Russia know what a VPN is. I stay in FA!

I don't know about blocking of FA, on my part everything is working, both on phone and PC without VPN. But we shall see what happens next. In any case as you said we have VPN. And I think it's Roscomnadzor's fault really, not the "main body" of our government (they probably even don't know that FA exist, even if they do they probably don't care).
For english-speakers, Roscomnadzor is self-claimed "department of internet safety" in Russia, their aim is hunting down "dangerous content" (child porn, unethical images, depictions of extreme gore and etc), but they fail at that miserably since their leadership is puritan idiots that targets wrong sites and content (for comparison think of satanic hystery or "moral panic" around DnD). Now they target FA because, to their horror, they found out that FA have 18+ content with furries. Don't worry though, their blocking is easy to bypass. But I hope they fail bringing "good proof" for blocking of FA and will left it alone (a bit naive, but still).
