Same exact scammer (the email matches) got my friend by pretending to be  Murriel and contacting a YCH bidder just a couple days ago

Was luck that I found out cause they nearly got me. That's why Viluna knows about it cause I warned them about it. I got lucky cause I always use Goods and Services on PayPal for art and the scammer didn't like that and refunded me my money cause it got held by PayPal.

Which is a good move, and if it's available it should ALWAYS be enabled, even if it's a legitimate artist.
For some artists, due to nationality, the option isn't available, but in that case the Goods and Services option won't even show up. It's always best to know multiple ways to keep yourself safe and verify who you're talking to.

Yeah, the scammer asked me for Friends and Family payment and that was an instant Red Flag, sadly I didn't see the other ones, but luckily I got away with it, so know to be super careful. Seems this scammer goes for YCH with large bids and only a single bidder.

This scammer specifically is incredibly greedy, unfortunately. Small artists and small bids are not an exception, so even if it's a small amount, be careful!

Yeah, a lot of scammers around, need to be careful. Client and artist need to confirm at least two times now before make the payment. My last 5 clients on my YCH received the same message from a scammer, but because they know my real account, they warned me
