I don't have a lot of pet peeves but...

...will people please stop using free sites like FA just to advertise for a paywall? Does FA get a finder's fee for essentially free advertising? I doubt it. Do users of FA get to read or view any of your work unless they pay? Nope. Then stop exploiting a free service like FA to advertise for a paywall.
Sites like FA have been around for years, even decades, longer than any paywall site has been around, and sites like FA don't charge any user a penny to view or post. Operating sites like FA costs money, resources, time, and energy but they have offered these services to the Furry Community as a service free of charge. When people use sites like FA just to get people off of their site and onto sites that requires payment, it shows a huge lack of respect for the effort, time, and money that operators of FA have been giving to the community for free since 2005, almost 20 years!, while asking for nothing in return.
Don't get me wrong, it's one thing if you have a sample of the work available, or if you just need the paywall for an HD version of the art ,or if you post the work on FA on a delayed timeframe, or if you're advertising for your paywall on your main page, or if you pledge that a portion of your subscriptions would go back into FA. That's different and all perfectly reasonable.
I get that artists need to eat too. But when every single submission you use on FA is used as an advertisement just to get users off of their site and onto one that requires payment, I mean it's just not cool and kind of gross. If you want sites like FA to stick around and still be viable for years to come, then stop sabotaging them by using their servers just so people leave FA and have to pay on another site. Thank you.

I have no issues with creators monetizing their work. But it rubs me the wrong way when the only or large majority of their work is just a tease advertising their Pattreon or whatever means of monetization. I have no way to judge your work besides a tight crop or short excerpt which is almost certainly cutting out or everything we want to see. You have to have a body of work that isn't behind a paywall.
