Finishing up another comic page tonight at 6:30 PM EST.
Don't know how I feel to get here, after so many years of planning this scene. I have a slight suspicion that some people will be confused by this page, or think it comes out of nowhere. My job as a comic writer certainly isn't helped by the fact that I made the first 5 pages as weird as possible, and I've been spending the rest of the comic backtracking and trying to slowly build back believability. And these last couple pages go heaviest into justifying everything.
And yet, I'm not sure I would do it any differently. Page for page, I've had a lot of fun making this comic, and I still have fun reading it. So this page is my little self-indulget reward for making it this far.
