Brenda, it's great that you're a national hero to the Native community, but are there any detractors who think you're setting a bad example for whatever reason?

Zosma: I've had a few one-off flicks with macrophiles I've met over the years, but my most consistent partner was a guy of Norse descent of all people. He'd try and climb all over me while I did my thing, made him feel like a hero - until I stopped him right before he could complete his task. It's all in good fun, though.

Brenda: Thank you, and that is a great question. While there are some Natives who, understandably, do not trust my position as a Harbinger, I feel fortunate that all but the most stubborn and cold-hearted respect the wisdom and guidance I provide. My most hostile critics, actually, are from people who claim to speak for my people, and from those who claim to act in my peoples' best interest, because of my "destructive" methods. I have tended the lands with my sweeping storms, sowing plentiful crops and teeming forests through rain and wind, in the exact same way for centuries even before the first foreigners set foot on the continent. Whether their settlements are ruined as a result or not is but a small price to pay for the land to nourish, clothe, and bathe us, a fact that is taught and accepted by other Natives for generations. For them to say I'm no longer fit to continue my long-established duties and obligations is an egregious insult to my people, their ancestors, and their sage.
