May I ask why?

I just don't think a lot of this old stuff is relevant anymore. They're not being shared and redistributed, they're dated in terms of quality and style, and I don't have any interest in revisiting them. I would rather have works that were more recent, of better quality, and better representation of myself as an artist.

Well don't you have any vested interest in your content? Don't you look back on it in regards of progress as an artist?

Sentimentality only carries so much weight for me.

When I think about my past art, I don't think about the work I put into it and how much I've grown as an artist, I think about where I was mentally and the people I was working with at the time. In that way, there are a lot of works I would very much like to leave behind. It's baggage.
