A sad day

A cute Fox skates by, looking to tell you something.
It's a Sad day indeed that I have to do this, and I probably should have done it sooner when the OGL Debacle happened; but, I'm removing all my kobold art to protect myself from the ire of WOTC should they alter the deal to the OGL/SRD.
My reasons being, if to take a word from the Basic Fantasy author "Chris Gonnerman" and to poorly summarize it, "Finding something about your friend you shouldn't have, and not feeling safe around them when they ask you to shut up about what you saw, and they shower you with gifts to buy your silence"
Am I just crazy for doing this when they just released SRD 5.1 under CC? Probably, but it would be better to be safe than sorry when drawing or writing about kobolds, though don't feel too bad; I might not be able to post about my cute dumb lizards anymore, but I can always post about several homebrew races that I am working on.
Also, the ORC can do what they want; the Reds who ree over our books can pound sand over the fact the community has been loud and clear on not wanting a morality clause, I can only hope this stays true, and the ORC will stay a truely open source license to use.

I think a positive way to look at it is that this is an opportunity for you to expand your horizons creatively. I think creating original characters, races, or species is always something that furries and nerds alike should be encouraging, and I think you might surprise yourself when you put down some of your own ideas in the future.
