For those of you who do not follow me on Patreon, a thing I posted there earlier today;

Hey everyone, how have you all been doing?
But like, seriously, how are you people? If you're able to, give me a minute of your time to tell me about your endeavors and general life situations, as much or as little as you feel like sharing, I'd appreciate that greatly.
I have dozens of Patrons, but only a handful of you every reply to posts I make, so I can't help but to wonder, "what are the rest of you all doing, and what are your thoughts concerning my creations?"
As for me, I have not been doing all that well for the past couple of months. I managed to find the energy to put out new pages during January, but I could not find the energy throughout all of February to do what I was supposed to.
I don't know what else there is to tell you about my situation, really, other than ask you all to be patient with me if you are able to and wish to. It's been really hard to find the motivation to draw new comics, especially when I know that what people most want to see from me --the nsfw stories-- is the subject matter I'm the least interested in illustrating. But I also know that complaining about it solves absolutely nothing, so there's that.
There's a bunch of projects I have in mind, things I want to do and put out there for you all, but it's a tricky endeavor to do all the things I want to do with the means I have available. In short, I am not done wiith my comics and other projects, I still intend to finish and continue them (except for Interdictor) as soon as I can.
Ultimately, I needed some time off for myself, and even though I didn't plan to take this month off, my body decided to do so for me, which caused me to not enjoy it as much as I could have instead, but there's nothing that can be done about that.
Long story short; there will be no updates from me for this month, which means none of you should be charged by Patreon. I'll return with the second chapter of Menagerie of Misfits whenever I manage to recover, however long that may take.

Things on my end have been busy and crazy, tho my partner and I did enjoy a short vacation to New York for a concert!

on my front - more or less getting by, grateful to have an affordable refuge, renting a room from a friend for cheap in exchange for helping out with chores. day job not paying even half what a living wage would be in the state I'm in, so I'm working toward finding work in a completely different career path (medical coding) that's similar work to what I'm doing now, but would pay double. Getting the certification for that is gonna take longer than I'd expected/hoped, but I'm grateful to finally have a direction now, at least, all I need to do is put in the time. So I'm doing alright... busy (which is always), but more or less staying afloat, and grateful for that
How did the career change go? Or is it going still?

many people don't even have the internet access (much less, a computing device) on which to complain about their shitty Life Circumstances
but..
..just know, that for myself, i'm only a couple of Bad Moves away from joining them, doug. . . . .

i'd applied to a few here and there; with the exception of one employer (which was mis-represented to me, on a couple of fronts, by the person who recommended it), no one's taken me up on my offers
these motherfuckers...
...now they're requiring college-fucking-degrees, just for jobs that pay $35,000 - $40,000
(or, they'll mandate having Prior Experience
but..
..where are you supposed to gain your experience from, when no one is going to hire you because you have no previous experience?)
mind you!
inflation has taken a huge chunk out of the worth of that annual compensation
and more employers, apparently, are undertaking the practice of making us pay for part of our health benefits
