well, actually I like any stuff with mind control, maybe I have no idea about a probable YCH but I have a suggestion:

I don't know if you have seen the Skyline saga movies... maybe you can make an adaptation with furryes and scallies, well that movies are not soo good but I feel like they can be more of your interest, more precisely, you can do something about the 2nd movie, that one was my favorite.

haven't seen either of the movies so I don't really have a point of reference for that

Skyline saga, basically is the classic movie about alien invasion, however this is about an alien that kidnaps people tho steal the brains and put them into some kind of human-bug like bodies, these brains are treated previously to the transplant... like a kind of brainwashing.

Two ideas: a brain surgeon has someone strapped to a table, with oxygen mask on the character, just finishing installing a glass dome brain control hood.

Second idea (major kink warning): ych as a secret agent, still in tuxedo, strapped to a chair. Pants have been lowered and a milker is attached. On head is one of the brain hats, which is working on converting the mind. Agent struggles against both machines as an off screen voice reassures them that their life would be much better once they surrender. ;3

Character sits in a chair with a mindless expression, while in the background, their brain is having all the stuff in it downloaded into a mechanical one, albeit with some "additions."

Can't go wrong with some of those friendly slug buddies.
