Waiting is the hardest part....

An Old Fox's life
My Journey to becoming a land and home owner is almost done. The past weeks they delivered the home. After they did the pad. Then a crew showed up to put the two halves together and set it on blocks and level it. It was an interesting couple of days watching. A crew showed up and started working on the inside. The lead said that some other guy would show up on Monday to do more work. Surprisingly he showed up that day and worked Sat and Sunday doing his thing. This past week the same crew was again there on Monday. Tuesday I sort of missed it and the Electrical guys came and went. The Air Conditioner dudes came and got half done. Only to find they were told the wrong heating cooling unit. They ended up coming back the next day with the correct condenser for inside the furnace. That day the Clayton Finishing crew arrived and worked on the flooring and trim in the place. Nice guys. They finished and left Wednesday. Thursday a clean up people arrived to clean up after all the workers and get the home ready. I also got a call that next Tuesday in the afternoon I will be given the keys to the home. I was hoping this week but well things do take time.
Right now I am waiting on the plumbers and the people to do the skirting for the place.
When I get the keys I can start moving and give notice to my greedy landlords. Shame that they did not honor their dead fathers wishes to sell me the current home. but Meh. I'm gone and they can get people that will not be reliable or nasty to deal with.
