I personally find that I get a lot less traction on this site than I do on DeviantArt, however I still post here because I DO have some people who follow and connect with my work, despite it not being...kinky. Haha.

I'd like to see FA apply some more ways of connecting with other artists, like DA's badges and groups. As it is, your art can tend to disappear into the ether pretty quick, haha.

Well, a lot of the updates I'm not a fan of, like the AI stuff. That said, anything that just makes it easier for people to find your work I'm into. I used to spray and pray llama badges over there, and it actually boosted my visibility massively. I hear you though, some of the updates are sketch, haha.

Yeah, I think you should post your pixel arts. As long as it pertains to animal or fantastical creatures, I wouldn't worry at all if it's appropriate for this site. Heck, even there's a human art group on this site, even though in my opinion making only human art is a bit irrelevant.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say if what you post here isn't both disturbing and irrelevant, it's okay. If you keep posting, the right audience will find you over time.

And if it makes you feel better, my account is SFW and I spend most of my time here, despite this platform being more notorious for NSFW. I'm just here for the cute cartoon anthro animals, and so are the watchers who have found me. DeviantArt, while huge and popular, doesn't have its emphasis on animal characters.

Thanks for taking some time to read and comment! For the pixel arts, and that's kind of the problem since most of it is mostly textures and such, so I don't think that'd garner a lot of interest. I have been meaning to practice more traditional pixel art skills (beyond my regular art) so that is something I could probably try out.

I also do tend to worry if my content is deliberate kink material in a way (and hopefully it's not that level of disturbing), but I guess that's probably more paranoia if anything. I can talk more about that on Discord if you'd like.

I guess the problem here is that I'm probably a glutton for punishment with viewing NSFW and seeing the complete FA experience, so to speak, especially since there are potential artists who actually do use that filter that I may be interested in.

And for DA's update... I don't want to dwell on it but they attempted to try and market NSFW content (read: obvious kink material) under its subscription service, which went about as well as you'd expect.

Starting off with Eclipse, the removal of stash writer, them creating a haven for NFT and AI generated artwork, and, more recently, DA siding with Israel in the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Safe to say DA has gone bad.
