I'm happy to be here

In retrospect, it is obvious that the constancy of a gallery site proved to be healthier than the frequently changing social media experiments which initially displaced it.
FA is like a house gallery show with extended friends. Contemporary social media was an anarchic mall, a mutating, endless sideshow that demanded constant engagement to stay visible, and I participated happily, for the most part. Even when it became evident that engagement methods emulated the old approach that sensational newspapers and magazines used- "sustained alarm" was the term, I think? But it seems the insane demand of endlessly growing profit wrings usability from that model of platform, to their eventual detriment.
It has been nine years since my last journal. I've posted sporadically, but I aim to share more works here. And I sincerely hope to offer more concrete records of my output, on paper, within the next year. To borrow an engagement plea from older media: Stay tuned.

I'm glad you are here yourself, been missing your charming art.
