Payment Update!
Well it was inevitable that something like this would happen.
For the past two years of doing adopts I've been pretty leanent about payment. I haven't taken payment till the final product is approved, I've been willing to wait a reasonable amount of time for someone to pay because I know how paychecks and the like work. I don't charge a lot for my work due to using bases, and kinda styling myself as a starter OC seller. I make an adopt, do edits to customize them, and then people have a working ref for when they go to a higher skill artist. However due to a string of customers cancelling their orders after I've finished the adopt for them, or taking over a month for payment, the structure has to change.
Given the price of my adopts ranges from 10 to 30 dollars depending on edits, I will now be requiring all payment up front before I start work on any edits or the like. Customers will also get watermarked examples when presenting them with edits until the final product is approved.

I hope this new system protects you from such annoying issues.
