More life updates.
Hey guys! it's been forever since I've written one of these. It commonely takes me about 1 year, maybe 2 years to write a new one! but this time it only took 5 months! new record right? Anyway, got a lil update on life for whoever is interested. I just moved to a town on the outskirts of the city. Yes, there may be giant roaches some times, but my ears thank me so much. The amount of peace I find here is incredible.
Some times I remember the old saying that what's natural doesn't exist anymore, and sure, that's probably true. We got parks to simulate nature on a city, and here on a town I may have large fields to walk with my dogs and cats, but I still got a house with electricity and the luxuries of modern life, so I could say I'm still far away from true nature.
I think I'm doing fairly well and learning stuff related to farming with my father in law that lives next to us. As a dumb city lad, I'm mostly clueless, but learning a beautiful trade like this one feels like a luxury to me. I was never driven by materialism, so I suppouse this kind of place is not for everyone.
Ah also, went down from 60mbs internet to 15, but there's nothing better! I can't complain about it, it works! even if I can't download a game in 1 hour like before haha.
Oh yeah and we tried to fix the AC, the guy came and spent like 3 hours on it, added the gas thingie to it and then seemed to realize that some part (forgot the name) was burned and simply didn't work anymore and had to be replaced, so, he had to charge me for the gas and his service and the thing didn't get fixed. I've been making a pool on the bed, because of course, the AC breaks on summer, and I know some folks here are in terrible freezing biomes, but at least you can get a blanket on! I can't get any more naked on 40°c!
Besides that, maybe something worth mentioning to those who are interested in comissions that I may get my prices up by at least $5 USD due to its value dropping. I'm losing a good chunk of money for each transaction + paypal fees. I've always liked to stay on an affordable range with a good quality, but the current world economy is being a royal bitch making it hard.
Anyway hope your year is doing as well as mine has been doing.
