Discord situation resolved
Hi again, with good news this time!
After getting into contact with Discord support we managed to get my account back. However, considering I had already asked people to block the account I will see if I can stick with the new one for now.
Also I am keeping an eye out for any suspicious behavior and log in activity just in case.
Remember to not make my mistake, don't download and run files via discord unless you are absolutely sure it can be trusted.

How'd you get coaxed into downloading the file anyways? Like, whatg was the, uh, claim or whatever scamers said?

OP
It went like this: Someone on your friendlist contacts you and asks if you want to help them surprise a friend of theirs by leaving a review on the game that friend has been working on. they provide a link that goes to a blog post (which has only one post) where it shows some screenshots of an actual games (I don't know where they got the footage from) and a download link. Once downloaded you are supposed to input a code to unlock the zip file the game came on and run the game.

Wow that's kinda convoluted ngl. Oh well I guess it's pretty convincing on multiple steps down to stolen assets so it doesn't feel like a more straightforward scam/hack attempt.
