Might Pause on Commissions due to Laptop issues

You may or may not be aware but I currently have a laptop that's getting closer and closer in meeting it's end, it's a very old laptop I have since I was 11 (20 now) so I don't know if fixing this ancient thing is possible.
Reason why I might pause on commissions is the fear that my laptop will end up not turning on at all, and if that happens while I have a commission to do I might not be able to recover the file to work on it again. It's starting to take longer to turn on anyway so my fear is catching up with me.
Good news, I have a friend who is helping me build a new computer hopefully sometime this year, so when I get it I wont have to worry about any computer issues in a long time, and I'll be able to work on more stuff than just digital art (Yippie), so there's hope xwx
