Seems like FA admins are being bullied or are part of the bullies that are deleting this old group that many people, including trans, used. It is sad that these "trans activist" want to fight to be accepted and not to be bullied but are quick bully others. Harassing artist, gamers, streamers, people of different cultures and other trans people. Telling them they are not allowed to be trans because the word they associate themselves with! Vilifying and discriminating a whole chunk of their own community. Innocent artist that draw a random intersex/cboy character get berated and "canceled" until they delete all their artwork and disappear or worse. Other artist are now scared to draw these characters now in fear they will be bullied by these people or have been brainwashed to think that someone using the word cboy, herm, or the like to refer to themselves with is transphobic.
C-boys_of_FA should not be deleted. I know some of you won't like me now after saying this stuff. Let people use terms they are comfortable with to describe themselves or their character. Don't let these toxic people bully you. In the end, I hope this toxic part of the community realizes that they are no better than the people they say they are up against. Denying one's identity sure does sound familiar though, no?

It was not long ago, one couldn't undergo surgery to receive a vagina without comitting to a female gender role, in a way that was "officially accepted". (Not trying to exclude women-at-birth who have had chest reduction, to achieve a similar result; the effect of which is more easily reversible). Wpath guidance has evolved over time to be more inclusive of Non Binary gender roles and dealing with the dysphoria.
I think "boy" as a misgendering word coupled with the extremely derrogatory/negative connotation of the word "cunt" in some cultures, it makes sense to try and move on from it. If it /can/ hurt someone, let's try and avoid it. Andromorph was a reasonable term coined in recent years, certainly a more serious one than vagentleman. We should use it instead of cboy.
I will also say that in the case of cancel culture which is usually a very loud minority, the right idea wouldn't be to delete the group, but just rename it. It lives in a database. It should be very possible to make some one-off queries to change it. That leaves the community behind it undisbursed. If you are upset that someone somewhere is sexualizing your gender identity, Idk, I think furry might be something you need to reasses being part of. I have personally gone through this, so I'm not just speaking out of my ass. There's a way forward that doesn't involve drama and feeling attacked or attacking others. Furries are horny for all kinds of stuff, that's just.. kinda how it is.
Furry is, in a lot of ways a culture that exists ahead of its time. Differently-gendered character art is at the core of many of our collective identities. I think discovering this stuff helps struggling people deal with dysphoria in a healthy way, and form lasting relationships with quality friends from all over the world. This wordage choice dilemma is a tribulation of our time that we have to reconcile, and we can either be divisive about it and hurt our selves, or come together and do better.
irl I'm nonbinary, but my *fursona* is a cboy. My sona is his own self, and has never experienced being nonbinary - he identifies as male. And I have never actually experienced being born as a cboy.
It may be slightly confusing but this separation helps me parse the concept.
There are some very rare cases where someone irl who is actually intersex might identify as a cboy and that's why I say "mostly" fictional, and in those cases it's really down to that individual how and why they've decided to identify that way.
I know not every furry does what I do - separate their sona into a sort of literary character with their own backstory, ideals, flaws, etc. A lot of furries use their sona as a proxy for themselves and they share identities, theoretical experiences, etc.
I'm not proposing that my way is correct, only that it works in my own brain for keeping things in their own little boxes for the most part.
Especially when in fiction, stuff like magic can exist and you get people changing their sex and parts without necessarily changing gender. Being "born" a certain way isn't necessarily even immutable.

But, apparently, my cry just collapsed into the abyss without any meaning.
It was to be expected that sooner or later the cancel culture would get here.
My sona is a intersex male Spotted Fennec. Not a trans or nonbinary as they say to label things in a politically correct manor. I might get extreme heat for this, but this is a sexual fantasy for me that I've been turn onto for years. Like a guy with a pussy actually kinda hot and kinky. But I keep it to myself cause I don't want no one knowing my own personal sexuality. And definitely a job doesn't wanna know that stuff, cause they don't wanna know care for it. They wanna know if you're capable in that field experience they're hiring you for. The woke and cancel culture cause more harm and damage to a shit ton of communities then doing good for it. It's pretty messed up and sad that they make you choose which side you wanna be on.
Me? I set my own path and walk a straight line to get from check point A to B. I follow my own path, I don't follow others to tell me how to do my thing and how to live my life. That's none of their damn business! It's all about control and turning society into a one big hivemind.
