How much Yarn is a Laeonid allowed to have before its considered hoarding?

Maetra: "After the Great Yarn Wars of 1,455, standard Laeonid Calendar, it was declared that after the Annator of the day, Annator Haeryx 'the insatiable,' who had kept all of the yarn to himself and refused to share any of it with his poor, yarnless subjects, that no Laeonid would ever be allowed to hoard Yarn ever again. A great rebellion was waged by the Laeonid Enclaves surrounding Haeryx's territory, forming a brief coalition against the tyrannical Annator. In the wake of the Civil War, a compromise was made. The Annator would retain his throne, but in return, the great document known as the 'Magna Yarna' was signed to restrict and limit the powers of the Annator. So that he may never keep the gift of Yarn away from his people ever again. Today, all Laeonids are allowed a yearly stipend of 100 balls of yarn to enjoy. Additional yarn can be purchased from specialty retailers.

Maetra: "Actually, yes. Good question. Laeonids are among the most successful variants of our species, but there are other sub-species of my kind. Just like the humans of Earth evolved into multiple sub-species of human during their early development, such as the Neanderthal and Homo Erectus. These early Humans eventually either died out or merged together back into one species. The native species of Aerros, hereafter referred to as 'Aerrosians,' did not re-merge together or die out, but instead diversified into numerous felid, canid, and vulpine sub-species after evolving from our common ancestor. in the pre-history of Aerros, long before the rise of the Fratyric Empire, Laeonids would often skirmish for territory in the warmer portions of the world. Over many thousands of years, distinct lines between the Aerrosian subspecies emerged. Laeonids would go on to control most of the planet, but these Canine and Vulpine Aerrosians still exist, in smaller populations. I'm less proud to say that for a very long time, there was also some cultural prejudice against them, and especially against hybrids who crossed the species lines. These were particularly looked down upon. Things have gotten better in the last 200 years of Aerrosian history, I'm pleased to say. All official segregation laws are gone, as are societal structures intended to deprive these people of their opportunities. These 'Caeniens' and 'Vulnidae' are a part of the Fratyric Empire today. Some have gone on to create colony worlds for their own kind. I can only hope that things continue to get better in the future.

As a side note, there are also polar variants of Laeonids, Caeniens and Vulnidae. Who live in the far north and south of Aerros."
