When it comes to growth or shrinking, I do particularly enjoy outlandish sizes in either direction. Really helps to cement the sheer unpredictability that comes with the territory.

honestly the best thing i find about growing big and especilly when the body itself get so hiuge compared to say the head is that it makes you feel like your own pillow fort to relax in and feel safe with nothing to trouble ya in your own huge space~

I'm not normally into really big disparities between body part sizes most of the time, but I can see how that could be a really comfy thought!

yeah there is the risk of being too much too so need some restraint
and especilly gotta make sure the legs can carry all of it otherwhise the person would def be stuck as a pillow fort in one place heh

also another fun thing with big size is what ya can do with friends since i mean yeah can walk next to them but more fun to carry them with while talking heh

oh! and another soft spot of mine is what a person will do both big and small in regards to how they live like
what items will a micro use to make their home fit for them
or how a macro might use a old storage facility to build it like a apartment for themselves with one area just a bunch of soft stuff to sleep on
heck a macro probably use a giant touch screen that one might use for a school as a phone

being the right size to carry a friend around is SUCH a good sweet spot <3

And yeah, finding ways for things to work at various sizes is a lot of fun to think about, too!

mhm especilly if the macros and micros have been in the same world for a long time then there is stuff they probably have devloped to make things work for them to co-exist and that is allways facinating

I love all ways of shrinking or growth, magic, potions, science and technology (rays). However I do like it when the character is affected properly. For example in many size play cartoons a character will drink a potion and they either grow or shrink. That is not the issue, the issue is their clothes often grow or shrink with them. A potion one ingests should not effect clothing or other personal artifacts on your person. Now a "shrink ray" it would shrink everything in is beam.

If you have looked at my FA page and most of my art you can tell I prefer shrinking over growth. I love the feeling of getting smaller and weaker, but there seems to be more adventure when you shrink. I have often made the argument that a normal sized person or fur who shrinks a whole city down to toy size is more evil and better than a normal sized person or fur who personally grows and rampages a normal size city. The end of the day citizens in the shrunken city are screwed, they are trapped bug sized forever. Nowhere to run to, no where to move to get back to a normal life. Now if an enlarged evil person or fur attacks a city to destroy it, many people will escape. Those people and furs will go on to rebuild or move to a safer place and try to put their bad experience behind them.

To push my buttons, have some role reversal, being a domestic dog and a Doberman, I love it when a house cat or mouse shrinks me. A big strong alpha male being shrunken down to toy with by a meek girly boi or full on girl. This pushes my buttons.

If I controlled your size I would probably shrink you down to about knee high to me and snuggle... oh and grope a cute goat butt now and then...a lot.

I've toyed with the idea of keeping a model city in my basement with a bunch of people who can't leave, and going down to mess with them from time to time :> So while I'm not necessarily into the evil bad-end stuff, I can see where the appeal is, for sure!

And knee-high is a REALLY good size to be, honestly <3

yes it is, too small to impose your will, too small to escape a room with a closed door easily, too small to escape the arms of a normal sized person or fur who wants to hold you. However you are still big enough to interact with your environment. You can climb up and get cozy on the sofa, maybe get a drink from the fridge, bottom shelf that is. You are also too big to hide to escape someone bigger, you can't duck into a small space a giant cant reach. You are too big to be put in tiny jars and cages, though I suppose a dog crate would work.

Personally growth is the best thing for macros because they feel so powerful and I love watching them grow while I stay small. My idea is if there's someone I love, I would share my feelings thus cause that certain person to grow and makes me shrink, so the more I express my feeling towards my cute macro, the bigger it gets :3

To me I love both shrinking and growing, but I don't like macros that are planet sized or just absolutely towering over cities like they're just toys or grass.
I prefer macros that are around 100 or at the very least tall building size
For me, the fun about macro and micro is the interaction between the different sizes
Like I wanna see young macros playing around with cars like they're toys or roller skates
Or micros using toys and legos to try and have some normality in their small size
If you become subatomic or planet size, there isn't much you can do or interact with and that's a bit boring

I'm not really into seeing young folks in these scenarios since they're so closely related with Kink for me, but everything you're saying about being at the sizes where interaction is still fun is EXACTLY what I love <3 While there's definite appeal to the more ridiculous sizes, if I'm gonna be big, I still wanna be able to do stuff!

I especially remember seeing a comic from you where someone was thinking about using one of those giant bells for their collar, but the bell was just too loud and they just put it back, that's pretty good

Small characters getting huge is always fun.
Some get lost in the power, some remain gentle or scared.

Size theft is EXCELLENT. Knowing that your size is going directly into someone else to make them grow can be super powerful!

I suppose as well, keeping them unaware of their dwindling size too, see how long can you convince them that yes, the shelves have always been that high

Role reversals are always super super fun, and of course a classic "Grow bigger when others try to shrink them" is always a favourite. I've also really gotten into the just... Joyously rompy and wild macros who just have a grand ol' time getting bigger. xD

Shrinking is amazing. My favorite is to shrink my specific triggers like being called short, feeling steps on the ground, or my absolute favorite is drinking milk/dairy!

For shrinking, I just ADORE pressing down on someone's head, causing them to shrink to fit the new distance between the hand/finger and what they're standing on, so they don't actually feel pressure~ It's just so dang FUNNNNNN! And cute!

I'm more a fan of the shrinking/micro side of size changing. Watching the world slowly get bigger and bigger, then figuring out how to travel and do daily tasks when you're the size of a mouse or even an insect sounds like a fun and relatively harmless challenge to me. Especially when there's giant food involved. And when you've got a friend who can help you out, wholesome micro/macro interactions can help make the relationship feel more intimate too

yeah, all of this is A+ material!

Oh, and for how I would change your size... I'd shrink both of us down to toy size so we could battle a giant dragon plushie and then watch a movie on the big screen (laptop)

Favorite way to grow or shrink is probably through magic or device. Role reversal is definitely the part that tickles my fancy and becoming smaller than someone you previously loomed over is <3. Build/Body/Species Type swaps are also a big <3 <3 <3

I am, or course, a fan of growth, but especially that which is out of the control of the one who is growing.

Either some kind of condition where a trigger makes them grow uncontrollably, physical pleasure, being a favorite.

Putting the growth in the hands of another is also SO much fun, as in the trade we recently had. ;)

However, there must be OUTGROWING, of clothing, furniture, ceilings, etc. to really get the blood flowing.

As for extreme heights? Only if another is growing along, for me. Once you pass a certain height there's no one to properly interact with anymore...

Hey there, I'm all about elementals or scaling, and especially changes based on size. Most of my characters transform and grow as a single scale, and have big monster girl forms. Quite a few are the mini giantess size, like 7-15 ft, a few are up at 30-100 feet, and a couple can get bigger than that.

I quite enjoy tying it to a sensation like absorbing an element, or an emotion like hulking out with anger, pleasure or adoration.

I think overall I love hitting some of the inconveniences of sizes. Getting stuck in rooms or doorways, trying to handle some modesty, or letting loose and reckless if you've been building up pressure.

I've always liked using magical means. It may sound boring but I like the feeling of control. Because whether it be me or someone using it on me, it's a sign that someone *wants* the growth to happen. For that part that really drives me wild is the banter with the growth. Someone bragging about how big they are or that they're only getting bigger. As for what I'd do, I may subject you to my endeavors to defy the conservation of mass, when I have my own canon of magic, one cannot gain without another's loss. To grow, something or someone else must shrink. It has been my goal to gain more than be taken.

Magic isn't a boring way to do things at all! And I'd love to be your subject as you test these matters; that sounds like a lot of fun :>

Favorite way:
As one who is entirely focused on the growth (and positive) side of things, I've found I tend to prefer it be something innate to the character (though it doesn't have to be something they started with)- a part of them that can't be taken away or dismissed or turned in another direction the way a ray gun or magic spell or such could. A biological ability they've always possessed, a permanent trait they gained via transformative item, a feature of newly-gained supernatural status, etc.

Usually it's also nice if it's a thing they can personally activate at will or with ease, regardless of whether or not they ever intend to exercise that fact- just the knowledge that the size is always at their fingertips, so easy to let loose with a trigger that they have instant/near-instant access to, is lovely even if they explicitly never wish to do so (though also if it's something they take advantage of freely).

And having it pressurized- always on the verge of surging forth in a big way, straining and compounding on itself as the growee and/or others attempt increasingly extreme efforts to control or halt or even merely slow the growth, efforts that are increasingly clearly going to fail far before the growth even truly starts to pick up speed, eeee <3


Specific parts:
When the changes in size start to bring along other changes too, amping up proportions and bestowing new features and upgrading existing abilities as if the growth was concentrating in more than just overall size, instead 'growing' some parts even faster while still affecting the entire body... "Oh dear, my cute little paws are getting so huge, even compared to the rest of me! I-I hope all of you down there don't mind being gently pinned by my soft growing toepads, I'm running out of room for them far faster than calculated..." "Whoops- wings and a taurso? Huh, that's new. Neat, though! I bet I could give some MASSIVE wing/foreleg hugs with these- like, massive even for how massive I am overall, even!" "Fiiiine, if you crybabies don't want me bursting your roof off, then I'm sure you won't mind me magically upscaling your house until it's big enough for me to fit- I sure can't stop my growth, and I outgrew the doors minutes back, so you're darn lucky my mana supply's grown into the largest source of arcane power on the planet!"

When there's a revelation that more growth is on the way that specifically isn't "oh this is only 0.00...01% of my power but now I'm gonna show you 0.00..02%!", instead being implied or hinted at by something like, "oh, huh, whoops- quick-but-urgent question- would it be much of an inconvenience if I used up ALL the space? Actually nevermind, urgent-er question, you have growsplosion insurance, right?" "Rrf, what's the hold-up? I can't keep my growth at the literal minimum like this forever, and you look like you're STILL falling behind! You said I'd be able to relax my restraints, and with how much my growth is overloading already, I'm about to do so whether you've got room for it or not!" "Wh-What do you mean, you already maxed out the compressors?! I-I thought they weren't even on yet! Oh no, oh no, turn on the backup compressors now or- th-they're on too?! Hrrrrnnnngh, oh no...!" That key moment where it becomes apparent that this has all been mere prelude, and the prelude is over, and the excess is inbound~<3

When the grower is trying to hold the growth back and stop it, but it feels so good that they can't stop thinking about how wonderful and empowering and amazing it's getting to groooow as they try to convince themselves there was ever any chance to prevent it... "A-Ah! I mustn't... I can hold it, I know I can... I don't h-have to grow... I don't have to feel the rush, the power, the size... There's still time for me to s-slow this down... Mmph, ooh... There's sooooo much- but I can control it! I can.... mmm, bottle that wonderful feeling up, i-ignore this glorious pressure, h-hooooOOOOLD IT IN... I-I shouldn't indulge... b-but... ohhhh, this wonderful tingling and shuddering slipping past my restraints... s-so much... S-Surely this lovely surging warmth and power and growth can't last FOREVER... p-probably... hopefully... m-maybe... perhaps... ohhh, but if it did <3 - n-no! I-I mean... c-can barely think through the flood of bliss, mmmph... Constantly asking if you'd be okay with creaking up a few more delicious feet or miles, pointing out how well you've handled the extra size so far and how much you could do if you kept growing.
Reminding you how cute those huge horn-gouges in the door frames and ceilings and overpasses were; how awesome it looked when your growing hooves got heavy enough to shatter the streets beneath them into craters; how the buildings squeezing around your hips and shoulders emphasize your shape and size so nicely but could certainly stand to be spread a little further apart so there's more of you to see; how those skyscrapers are still taller than you, are you really gonna take that, you can show them who's in charge; how adoring and impressed the crowds gawking up at you will be if you make yourself a literal mountain-goat; how majestic and grand you'd be to us if you turned those mountains into hoofprints just by indulging in more growth that feels so so good; how the whole planet really deserves to be made a cute little accessory for you to wear and show off as yours ; how sad and worrisome it must be for everyone to know that there's soooo much empty space that isn't filled up with friendly awesome growy-goat and only you can help fix that; how jaw-droppingly gorgeous you look with your spacedress straining and bulging across your vast form at every seam, and how every tear exposing more of you from within its sparkling confines only enhances your beauty; how okay yes I did sort of fast-talk you into growing so huge that you've outgrown the universe and it's now entirely (absolutely incredible and truly deserving) Goat out there, BUT, hear me out, if you grow FASTER now, you'll run into a new level of existence soon enough and we can do it all over again, this time with experience so you know what to focus on as you introduce yourself to this new soon-to-be-goat-saturated mega-cosmos one growth-spurt at a time; and I'll be here with you every surge of the way to remind you that you look so good as a grow goat, that you deserve to feel as big as you desire at any time, that it's not just okay to loom over all of us but in fact that's something we all eagerly hope you'll do, because you make such a better world than a mere planet ever could <3

Caudle once made a tweet about the fact that he'd had a lot of cases where people looked at the numerous larger, dominant, intimidating characters in his cast and assumed that meant he liked to play them to tease people as a big bad beastie, when in fact he actually much preferred to be a smaller, more vulnerable OC getting flustered by those powerhouses. That, and a few other conversations, have me thinking sometimes about the distinction between OCs that you like to be, OCs you have because you like to imagine interacting with them or just think they're neat, and OCs that are dual-role. It's an easy thing for people to get tangled up on when trying to figure out what a friend is interested in! I'll try to keep in mind that you're more interested (generally) in having the buttons pressed that make you do The Size-ings than you are in pressing the buttons that do your own Size-ings; as you said, a lot of my crew are well-equipped to poke those buttons, haha, thank you <3

It might be cheating, but I meant it- Okamitsune is absolutely one of the foremost expressions of what I love at the highest end of growth, and that comic encapsulates her personality to an especially incredible degree! <3 And yeah the upbeat bounce and playfulness of the animation is so gooooood <3

Even if you know I would only grow you if you were comfortable with it, I certainly didn't say I wouldn't weigh the scales a bit towards the growy end~ As you said, it's EXCELLENT stuff when someone technically has control in a situation, and yet, seeing the look of flustered excitement on their face, watching their expanding form squirm, hearing their friends helpfully urge and entice them with thoughts and dreams of more more more... Knowing that for all the control they have, actually, they have so so so little control at all... In order to ask them to stop pressing the button that makes you grooooow, you'd have to convince them to stop pressing the buttons inside you that WANT to be groooown, and how could you do that when you're too busy gasping about how incredible the outward and upward swell of your entire being feels as you're grooooowing~?

I prefer growth over shrinking. By miles. Literally and figuratively.
I don't like when the giant or giantess has control over their growth.
I like it better when there is a loss of control. Be it drugs, size ray, or super unstoppable growth spurt.

But my personal favorite are growth pills. Where two ladies are competing and have to rely on a super drug to be taller, sexier, more powerful, or simply more popular. And it's race to get more of the drug in a battle for dominance. My personal favorite being a story similar to King Size Canary.

I don't like gentle giantess, and I don't like narcissistic, entitled, feminist giantesses either.
I like the horny chaotic neutral giantesses. Who use their giantess fame in only-fans kind of way, and don't try to conquer the world, or have obnoxious Hollier than thou attitude.

I like confident giantesses who know their hot shit and will not boo-hoo and whine about being gigantic or use their status to bully smaller people.

I'm more into vore than growth/shrinking, but one rare idea that I always love to see is when the prey shrinks rather than getting digested. Makes it so eventually you can't even tell they're there from the outside. Very cozy

One of the definitive characteristics of size fetishism, at least in my opinion, is how incredibly broad and versatile it is. It boggles the mind to even consider the almost infinite variety of tones, settings, triggers, situations, and dynamics that can exist within its purview. What I wouldn't give to have a drug that gave me the absolute and total focus to actually sit down and write a definitive essay, encapsulating the totality to the size fetish experience! It has been with me all my life, quite literally it was the genesis of my sexual awakening. It has shaped not only a large part of my sexual identity, but a sizeable portion of my life and worldview. My mind overflows with ideas and half-formed thoughts about size fetishism, if only I could commit it to written word! Instead, I'll settle for riffing off a few size thoughts in bullet form, in no particular order, just to create something:

General Thoughts On Size Scenarios:
-Logic: I like stories and situations featuring size differences that maintain a strong sense of internal logic. I easily get lot in situations in which growth or shrinking is so spontaneous, random, illogical, or unexplainable, and it doesn't connect to anything I can grab onto. Perfect scientific accuracy, is, and this practically goes without saying, completely unnecessary. But, some form of internal consistency is not only welcome, but encouraged. Knowing how the world works is necessary to create expectations, and thus anticipation; and as we all know, anticipation is the catalyst for gratification.

-POV: Characters in size stories can be hard to write for. We all want to experience a sexually gratifying situation in the end, but there are so many ways to get there, some paths more well-trodden than others. In most scenarios, the act of size-changing is intrinsically sexual, within the narrative, because that's how we typically perceive it. We have conditioned ourselves to respond sexually to size changes, therefore we treat the act of changing size within a story or scenario as an innately sexual act. But, I also contend that there's merit in considering other perspectives; such as someone discovering, for the first time, a size fetish, by being exposed to one for the first time. Sometimes, in a size scenario, a character may even respond sexually to a size-changing individual, but in response to conventionally sexual stimuli; grunting, moaning, sweating, blushing, and various states of undress, all caused in some way by the size change itself. In this way, a character can unintentionally associate sexuality with size changing without even realizing it.

Size Ranges: As someone who enjoys both ends of the spectrum, large and small, I generally find my preferences fall within what I vaguely describe as the "interactable range", where the size changer typically falls between a couple inches on the low end, and somewhere around 50-100ft on the high end. At these limits, it is still conceivable that significant, personal interaction is still possible at these scales, though the power dynamic is nonetheless insurmountable. Interestingly, for myself, I am more willing to go smaller on the shrunken side than larger on the giant side. This could relate to how I personally prefer fantasies in which my own POV remains static, while the character I am perceiving is changing in size, thus I am more readily excited by having infinite power over another than having infinite power stripped from me by another. I like giant women, but I like my giant women to be accessible, approachable.

Random, Size-related Story prompts and concepts:

-A character from a higher-dimension is transported to our universe via sci-fi shenanigans. Their 4th dimensional body structure allows them to alter their size at will, without altering their body's density, because they are technically infinitely dense.

-In a group of friends, one character gains access to a growth serum of sorts, and is slowly, secretly exposing one of their friends to it, causing slow, significant growth over a period of days and weeks. While most of the friends are concerned with figuring out the cause and solution to the problem, the friend controlling the growth serum keeps subtly exposing the growing friend to various embarrassing mini-tasks for their own amusement, such as reaching for things on high shelves, or bending over to pick up dropped items; made all the more compromising by awkward body coordination and poorly fitting clothing.

-A woman with true-to-life, realistic gigantism is faced with the painful reality that she will likely face serious health complications, and likely a shortened lifespan due to her condition. She battles her situation as best she can with a strict diet and rigorous exercise, but feels ostracized by both men and women alike most of her life. She eventually finds a passionate niche and acceptance in the performance arts, and later as a WWE wrestler, where she regularly defeats male opponents under the ring name, "The American Amazon".

-A character is afflicted with a hither-to unexplained shrinking curse, causing them to lose a percentage of their height every day. At first, they question if it's really happening at all, because everyone around them denies any changes, claiming they're just being ridiculous. As it becomes irrefutable that the protagonist is shrinking, however, they are force to come to the conclusion that the curse has affected everyone's perception, as not only do they not accept the shrinking as real, but the smaller the protagonist gets, the less notice everyone takes of them. By the time they reach rodent size, where they are more dependent on the help of others than ever, they are barely acknowledged at all.

Well, you certainly put me in the size changing mood from this..! I probably prefer shrinking much more... and specifically shrinking out of clothes really does it for me :3

I really like size tiring too, being shrunk or grown to certain points that would either make you too small or too big to reach or use certain things. How small would you have to be to not be able to use a remote anymore? Probably around 6 inches or smaller... and how big? Probably 10 feet and above? Who knows! And it works with everything!

I like em both, but I prefer growth to shrinking since with shrinking, you're suddenly dinner for everything bigger than you. Triggers for either though, I love the classics: magic, science beam or ray, or even just randomly happening growth spurts. Having control of it is kinda meh, like where is the fun in that?

Sensations that make each one perfect for me are:
-Growth: Get sensations like feeling warm all over, that warmth within you swelling and spready like a balloon from within you, getting stronger until it just bursts like a balloon full of smoke and you're left feeling a ittle wave of euphoric aftermath. Which is right when the growth itself starts to kick in, only your body is starting grow with that feeling of warmth returning to your body as it's returned. The feeling of stretching your body; uncurling your spine, stretching your limps, splaying your toes and fingers, enjoying the ride until it's at it's end. Of course include the sensations of your clothes tightening, ripping and shreading as your body becomes something too big and powerful for the fabric to contain.... add of course the nervousness of the grower as they realize their body is changing and while they love it they did wish it would stop at first until they come to accept it, love it.... WANT MORE OF IT! Uniform or uneven growth can be really fun here.

-Shrinking: The feeling of your body becoming filled with tension, like you're so stressed and tenced you'r elike a statue. Followed by the involuntary shivers that just rocket around in your stiff body until suddenly, at the height of it all, the tension breaks and it goes away. Like when you let a rubber band return to it's normal, unstretched state, which follows your body suddenly shooting downwards. Clothes bunching up, you try to keep them on, but still down you go... it's scary... but liberating also, like all this tension in your body is leaving. All you big problems seem smaller because, being smaller, you can't REALLY do anything about them. Broken car: who cares since I'm not gonna be able to drive it. Bills: save them for another day since I can't really do anything to pay them right now. Need to do shopping: the smaller you are, the less you really need to buy since a whole loaf of bread will sustain you for months if it lasts. Of course having someone doing the shrinking with someone they are close with helps it if it's a loving relationship where the shrinker is now the dependent of the normal one, who's just too happy to help them out of love. None of the dom stuff since it feels a little cruel at times when the normal person goes a little too far.

As far as sizes go: 100 feet tall is my absolute maximum since that becomes too much to fully appreciate., and an inch tall is my max as far as small goes since any smaller and your at the bottom of the food chain for even insects.

I like slow growth, the kind that's only noticeable over minutes at the fastest - up to months.

Doubly so when it's not in one's control.

Triply so when it just. Won't. Stop. :3

Personally have a preference for growing over shrinking for some reason. I both love the idea of being a giantess (not so much a giant) or just watching a giantess grow. I have a preference for the sort of art where you watch the giantess' growth at her own scale, the sort where she is the focus. I love the sheer size and power of it all. I especially love when the subject has an interesting reaction to growing, I love the sort of psychological aspect of these sorts of things.

Growth and shrinking are things I have a personal-experience-analogue to - ever taken a ride in a plane?

I always liked the animations where they get bigger, and more muscular, through inflation. Having them bust through their clothes in the process, similar to the work of DracoRex and DNApalmhead.

I'm an absolute sucker for reconned/reality shift growth and shrinking. The idea of people becoming deific in size and not even noticing it- or even better, the idea of deific-sized macros appearing from nowhere like they've always been- is absolutely delicious. A tiny is powerless enough; how much more powerless when even their history and reality is variable, subject to playful tampering like an all-powerful cat God batting timelines around like string...

All types of size change are good. If for just a moment, a spell or device will do. A potion/chemical is great when it lasts an indeterminate time. And I love when clothes come off or rip off.
