Coloring #58 tonight -- brief note on silliness

General
Tonight I add color to what is becoming one of my favorite pages of the comic so far. https://picarto.tv/Rimme
I've been kind of obsessed lately with the question of whether my comic takes itself too seriously or not. It certainly started out silly, but then it had a huge dose of seriousness over the last dozen or so pages. This page is definitely less serious than the ones before; I'm just wondering if it still has seriousness creeping in, or whether it's overshooting the silliness angle. I mean. I'm just having fun with it. Not chaotic fun, and hopefully not arrogant fun. I suppose even fun stuff needs to have effort put into it.
Thank you for listening to my neurotic aside. Coloring right now!

I think it's impossible for stories to avoid serious tones once in a while, unless one is doing something like Garfield (and even that strip had a pretty creepy sequence once). Tell the story that needs to be told and have fun.
